Mr Gérard NTAHORWAROYE BIKEBAKO
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary at Republic of Burundi to the Republic of Turkey
Ambassador Gérard NTAHORWAROYE BIKEBAKO was born in the town of Gatumba in Bujumbura province in western Burundi, he is married and has five children.
He has a history diploma and expertise in high school history teaching.
Ambassador Mr. Gérard NTAHORWAROYE BIKEBAKO has a long professional experience. In 2000, he held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Member of the Executive Board of the Arusha Peace and Reconciliation Agreement Implementation Monitoring Commission in Burundi from 2001 to 2006.

Director of East and South African Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 2006 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2011, he was the Chief of Cabinet at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He served as the Permanent Secretary of the same Ministry from 2011 to 2012.
Since October 2019, Mr Gérard NTAHORWARO BIKEBAKO been appointed as the Extraordinary and Authorized Ambassador of Burundi for the Republic of Turkey.
