Another example can be given by fruits that if we pick the fruit from its branches it is ecology and if we eat it then it is gastronomy.

First of all,we would like to raise awarenes that %65 of the people on earth doesnt feel what is it like to pick fruits and vegetables from their branches. Our purpose is to let people enjoy vegetables and fruits off of their branches and cook them in the traditional way. With Ecological and Gastronomical event, we would like to bring different cultures together and tell them about the local and regional cultures, show and experience the local lifestyle in its source and see Tokat with hundred years of history, people’s Authentic life Style reflected onto its cuisine. Tokat also is the best agricultural city of Turkey that is famous with its produce around the world. With this event, we believe that the produce Tokat offers will reach even farther around the world.

Tokat is geographically located at the intersection of the Black Sea and the Eastern Region all the way to Central Anatolia.

You may go to Tokat by domestic flight to Sivas or by bus from all around Turkey. If you are planning to fly, you can fly to Sivas Airport that is an hour and half flight from Istanbul. There is also coach service available to Tokat from all around Turkey. We have a free transfer available from Tokat Coach Station and Sivas airport.

We will cook in Tokat. More likely local and traditional dishes. For example, famous grapevine wraps, Turkish Style pancake, rice, soup, Turkish Style pizza (Pide) and similar regional cuisine that we will cook and eat together.

Tokat is known to be very traditional and sticks by its Culture. There is traditional wedding ceremonies, rituals and such.We will try to come across with one and will witness the Turkish way of doing social gatherings along with Turkish hospitality. We will be part of Cultural and socializing event and witness their strong bond to its values.

We will be staying in 4-5 star hotels in Tokat. We will be sight seeing around the farms and fields and get rest in your comfortable hotel rooms in the evening.

Yes, we will go around the villages and sing& play with authentic tunes and folkloric dances.

You can bring comfortable outdoor shoes, clothing that would be worn in farms and fields, your Camera, sun glasses, gloves. It is not cold but for cool evenings,you may pack a warm outerware.

You will ve visiting farms and villages. Try not to climb on the trees. Stay off the river and the dams if you do not swim as we will be strolling around the Water. The vegetable and fruits may be treated so please do not consume without washing and consult with your guide prior.Tokat and its people are very warm and friendly so you may get a hug or a personal touch that should be considered normal.
