Summary : A visit to Tokat City that is geographically located at the intersection of the Black Sea and the Eastern Region all the way to Central Anatolia and has a lot to offer as far as Ecological & Gastronomical aspects.

Route : City of Tokat (Ballica Cave, Zile Castle, Farm & Village Visits for Gastronomical activities, Turkish Bath and Almus Lake)

DAY 1: Tokat Arrival Day (20th Jun, 2019, Thursday)

Today is your arrival day at Tokat for Ecological and Gastronomical Workshop event. Check-in to the Hotel. City sight-seeing on your own. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel. Closest Airport to Tokat is in Sivas that is 80 minute by drive. If you are planning to come over by Airplane then please book through Sivas Airport. There is coach service available from all cities in Turkey for Tokat city.

DAY 2: Tokat City Tour & B2B Workshop (21st Jun, 2019, Friday)

Today, we have a city tour visiting the famous Tokat Castle, the downtown area. Lunch at the restaurant and back to the hotel. 14.00, we have Ecological & Gastronomical B2B Workshop event starting until 18.00. By 19.00, we have Gala Dinner served. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: Farm Visit and Gastronomical Activities (22nd Jun, 2019, Saturday)

Today we will take to farm to pick onions, lettuce and such greenery and then to make pancakes with a Turkish touch. We eat what we cooked with villagers and we will depart for cherry orchard and the fields. Picking fruits and eating them from tehir branch along with the local people that is surely not to be forgotten easily.

DAY 4: Tour of Ballica Cave and Zile Castle Tour & Turkish Bath. (23rd Jun, 2019, Sunday)

After breakfast, we will be visiting famous Ballıca Caves that is known to have healing powers for Asthma patients. Then depart for Zile where the famous saying of “Veni Vidi Vici” by Roman Emperor Caesar took place. To be followed by an authentic Turkish bath. Tokat is known to be a center for Turkish Baths over a thousand years of cultural heritage. This would be great after a long day of sight-seeing that you would feel like a new born baby.

DAY 5: A traditional Village Visit & Peach Picking and Village Dinner (24th Jun, 2019, Monday)

Today, we will see Lake Almus that is one of the biggest lake of Turkey that we will witness the variety of fishes as walking by and visit a village to enjoy all natural & organic food along with villagers and take a part in Folkloric and traditional dances, depart for Peach and seasonal veggie-fruit Picking at its source. You will feel the nature at the palm of your hands and that empathize the sense of being part of the soil. Eating the peaches fresh off the branch appreciating the greatness and witness the earth truly. Afterwards, we will be having Turkish style pizza (“pide”) for dinner and you are cooking! Today, we will see the honored and hospitable villagers’ working conditions and cooking methods, witnessing their farm life. We will see the domestic animals such as donkey, cow and such all around us.

DAY 6: End of Ecological & Gastronomical Tour (25th Jun, 2019, Tuesday)
